Full RADIUS Suite
The Truteq RADIUS Suite provides sophisticated functionality and enhancements to the generic RADIUS capabilities offered by most Core Data Network (CDN) elements.
Routing Functions
Routing based on IMSI, MSISDN or other parameters to different OCS end-points, enables MVNO charging separation, Multiple APN support, Private APNs, and testing flexibility.
RADIUS to Diameter Conversion
RADIUS or Diameter based charging is supported and real-time conversion from RADIUS sources to Diameter based end-points. See Diameter Portfolio for further details of Diameter capabilities.

RADIUS AAA Server – Private/Bulk/Corporate APNs
On a mobile network, an Access Point Name (APN) acts as a gateway, providing the mobile device with all the necessary settings to connect to a data network.
A private data APN is a dedicated and isolated point of entry onto an IP network for mobile devices, specifically configured for a single organization or group of users. Instead of sharing public data pathways, traffic from devices using a private APN is routed directly into the organisation’s corporate data network.

The Private/Bulk APN solution is an enabler for mobile enterprise sales to corporate customers. Company owned mobile devices and mobile data packages can be more effectively managed in terms of costs, security and policies.

Security
Subscribers that are connected via a private APN are only visible to other devices on the same APN. The APN solution is similar to a secure mobile VPN, without the need for a software client.
Policy Enforcement
A private APN means corporate IT policies are enforceable on devices attached to the mobile network. Limits abuse and improves cost effectiveness.

RADIUS Accounting Proxy
The TruTeq RADIUS Accounting Proxy is a robust core data network (CDN) component, used to distribute high-volume RADIUS information to RADIUS end-points inside the network.
Architecture Flexibility
In many cases, existing CDN nodes will only distribute a single Radius feed, but this valuable information is useful for more than just charging scenarios. The TruTeq Radius Proxy will ingest a AAA feed and distribute it to multiple other destinations as needed.
This aids in initiatives such as enhanced customer care, auditing & monitoring, deep packet inspection, service testing and data partnerships etc.
Performance
Modern data networks are able to generate thousands of AAA events per second. The TruTeq AAA solution’s performance and reliability is proven to deal with the high volumes required.
RADIUS secret re-keying
A unique feature of the TruTeq AAA Proxy is the ability to re-key the RADIUS data with a new secret key so that the origin key does not have to be shared to destinations to where the RADIUS data is being redistributed.
This is useful for enhanced security and scenarios where RADIUS data is shared with partners outside of the core network.
MSISDN based Proxy
The RADIUS MSISDN Proxy capability is used to redirect traffic to a different RADIUS server based on MSISDN.
For instance, most CDN elements do not natively support routing of RADIUS traffic to multiple end-points, this feature could be used to support an alternate RADIUS instance for testing purposes.
