Please Call Me
The “Please Call Me” (PCM) service is a popular and often free mobile service that allows a user with little or no airtime (mobile credit) to send a pre-defined text message to another mobile user, requesting that the recipient call them back, thereby unlocking call revenue that would otherwise have been lost. This service has been particularly impactful in regions where prepaid mobile services are dominant and managing airtime can be a daily concern for many users.
Personalisation & Limits
Users can configure an alphanumeric name to be sent to B-party in addition to the A-party number. Global daily limits can be configured to manage volumes.

Other service variations, such as “Please Recharge Me” are also available.
Advertising
Please Call Me offers two advertising possibilities per transaction: the SMS notification sent to the B-party and the USSD return string to the A-party. The SMS can be sent to on-net subscribers as well as off-net subscribers. Ad-insertion can be managed via TruTeq’s own advertising engine, or integrated to a 3rd party ad serving engine.

Service management rules such as how often alphanumeric names can be changed are configurable.

Visual Notification Centre
The Visual Notification Centre allows a service provider to convert regular text message-based notifications, such as wallet balance enquiries or voicemail notifications, into highly engaging, revenue generating visual adverts.
Messaging Proxy
The TruTeq messaging proxy accepts incoming notification messages and applies business rules based on parameters such as service opt-outs, time of day, volumes and rates, and more.
Should a visual notification not be delivered, the Proxy also ensures that fall back to regular text notification takes place.
Campaign Engine
TruTeq offers API-based integration to a campaign engine that supports visual notifications. Advert targeting decisions are made by the campaign engine based on demographics and other insights.
Cost-effective MMSC
The service provider’s own MMSC can be used, but TruTeq does supply an A2P optimised MMSC as part of the VNC solution if required. The TruTeq MMSC is very cost-effective for high-volume MMS requirements such as the VNC service.
Revenue Generation
Thousands of internally generated text notifications are sent to subscribers each day. The VNC allows revenue generating visual advertising inventory to be appended to these messages .

WAP Gateway
A WAP gateway (Wireless Application Protocol gateway) was a crucial piece of technology in the earlier days of mobile internet, acting as a bridge or translator between mobile devices and the internet. The WAP gateway is still useful in some mobile data scenarios and is required for older MMS clients, although modern MMS clients often directly use HTTP for communication with the MMSC.

OTP Engine
A One-Time PIN (OTP) is a unique, temporary code generated to authenticate a user for a single login session or transaction. It serves as a critical security measure to protect accounts and data from unauthorized access. The TruTeq OTP engine provides an easy means to add second factor authentication to any service.
Easy Integration
Provides an easy to integrate web services-based end-point for generating an OTP. Works directly with TruTeq VAS platforms, or others, to deliver the OTP.
No SMS or USSD integration is required, services can quickly and easily add secure second factor authentication via simple web services calls.
Fallback
Push- or NI USSD can be used as the preferred method, with fallback to SMS in the event of a Push USSD failure.
Push USSD Supported
Push or NI USSD is also supported as an alternative to delivering the OTP to a customer’s device via SMS. The customer can respond directly to the USSD session-based second factor authentication event and the result is delivered via the web services-based interface.
